Born and raised in Bella Coola, BC, Allen Stiles received his Master’s degree at the University of British Columbia studying under Lee Kum Sing. He is a founding member and artistic director of The Little Chamber Music Series That Could Society, and is a member of the contemporary chamber group Standing Wave. He is also a highly respected freelance pianist and teacher in the Vancouver area, and is on faculty at both the Langley Community Music School and Douglas College’s Community School. Recently Allen has expanded his interests to include conducting, and is currently Music Director for the Richmond Gateway Theatre’s annual winter musical theatre productions.
